A mexican Metro experience

To enjoy the public transport in Mexico City just get a ticket for 2 Pesos and ride all day as long as you want. If you were about to go shopping instead, don´t worry, you´ll hardly miss out on anything. You wont ride a single stop without someone offering you either tissues, chewing gums, lollies, sewing kits, wristbands, manicure sets or much more that has not even the slightest chance of being liked by anyone. The highlight is how CDs and DVDs are advertised. Their content will be presented with insanely noisy loudspeakers in a backpack and usually portable DVD players. Then people would put things on your lap and let you decide for while if you wanna just return the (mostly useless) item or buy it for about 5-10 Pesos instead. One thing you´ll wonder about is how they coordinate each other. There are never 2 merchants in a carriage at the same time but almost each stop you´ll be sure there is someone who has something to offer for you. Just enjoy it and keep watching your belongings!
